Privacy policy for the Betbolt review portal

This notice explains how bet-bolt.co.uk, an independent information site that reviews Betbolt and similar operators, handles the data of people who visit it. It does not describe how Betbolt itself handles player data once someone registers on its own platform – that relationship is between the reader and the operator, governed by the operator's own privacy terms. Anything you submit to this portal, by contrast, is ours to explain here.
We collect very little. Most visits leave nothing more than the standard technical trail any website records, and anything beyond that – a message through our contact form, for instance – is given voluntarily and used only to answer it.
Data you hand over vs data we observe
Two categories cover everything this site holds. The first is data you actively provide: your name and email address if you write to support@bet-bolt.co.uk, and whatever you choose to say in that message. The second is data we observe automatically: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and referring links, gathered through standard server logs and, where you've consented, analytics cookies.
We do not ask for payment details, identity documents or gambling account information of any kind – that data belongs with the operator you're reading about, not with us.
Processors and transfers
We use third-party services for hosting and, where enabled, analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security commitments, and none of them acquires the right to use your data for their own purposes. Your information is never sold to advertisers or data brokers. Where a processor is based outside the UK, appropriate safeguards apply to any transfer.
Exercising your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct it, ask us to erase it, restrict or object to its processing, request portability, and withdraw any consent you previously gave – for analytics cookies, say. To use any of these rights, email support@bet-bolt.co.uk and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's independent regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk.
Retention
Contact-form correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve the query and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up, then deleted. Technical log data is retained for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes and is not kept indefinitely.
Under-18s
This site, and the gambling content it reviews, is intended strictly for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 (18+), and this portal is not designed for or directed at minors. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, contact support@bet-bolt.co.uk and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this notice from time to time to reflect changes in the data we collect or the law that governs it. The current version applies from the date it is published, and it's worth checking back occasionally if you've used the contact form before.
